Prodigy/CME is the latest upgrade to PMD's Prodigy family of multi-axis motion controllers. This line of motion cards provides a C-Motion Engine (CME) module that allows application programs written in 'C' to be downloaded and run directly on the Prodigy card. The CME communicates with on-card hardware elements using a high speed internal bus, and can be used to off-load application code from the system host, or enable fully stand-alone operation. I/O options for the Prodigy/CME cards include serial, CANBus, Ethernet TCP/IP, and Ethernet UDP.
