PMD's Motion Control Developer’s Kits are integrated board and software packages available to designers who need to do electro-mechanical and software design using PMD's motion ICs. These kits include the surface mount card, interconnection cables, a full set of manuals, and PMD’s development software, including, Pro-Motion® GUI, C-Motion® API, and VB-Motion®.

The ION Developer's kit is an easy-to-use digital drive and software package that makes setting up and testing motion systems quick and accurate. The kit consists of either an ION 500 or an ION 3000 Digital Drive, communication and I/O cables, easy-to-use development software, and documentation. There is also an optional heat sink and DIN rail adapter for the ION 500 model only. Designers only need to connect to a motor and DC power supply to implement a complete motion system.

The Magellan® Developer's Kit is an integrated board and software package used to develop application software and to exercise a system’s hardware components. It can also be used as a general-purpose motion development system. Using this motion control kit, designers construct a complete general purpose motion exerciser. Only an external amplifier is required to run a motor. Designed for surface mount technology, the PCI-bus card provides multi-axis motion control for DC brush, brushless DC, step, and microstepping motors. Pro-Motion is an easy-to-use Windows-based application designed to accelerate motion system development by providing ready-to-go capabilities that can be shared by the entire development team. It features a step-by-step axis wizard that allows designers to quickly and easily tune position loop, current loop, and field-oriented control motor parameters.

C-Motion is a "C" source code library that provides a convenient set of callable routines for controlling PMD motion control products.
